Children's Ministry of First United Methodist Church presents

Parents as Spiritual Leaders
Helping Your Child Read the Bible

A class for parents of 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade children.

In this class, facilitated by Barbie Boyd, parents will learn creative ways to lead family devotions, how to help your child learn to love the Bible, and how to teach your child to understand and apply scripture to daily life.  The class consists of a short video followed by facilitated small group discussion with other parents.

There are two opportunities for parents to participate in this three week series:

  1. Sunday Mornings

    2. 9:45 a.m. - 10:45 a.m. in the Family Life Resource Center (2nd floor library)
    September 28, October 5, October 12
  2. Wednesday Evenings

    3. 6:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. in the Family Life Center, Room 320
    October 1, October 8, October 15

Third Graders will be presented with their Bibles in worship on Sunday October 19th.
